Breanna Coffey MBA, CFP®
What inspired you to choose wealth management as a career?
I love having the opportunity to really help our clients and make an impact in their lives. I started out my career on the Institutional side of finance working with big banks, but I craved having the one on one connection you get working with individuals and families. Its very fulfilling knowing our work helps our clients on a day-to-day basis.
Why did you choose to be part of the BDF team?
I chose to come to BDF because I was blown away by the culture that everyone here lives and breathes. It truly is a team focused environment with a genuine passion to serve our clients.
What is one thing that we would be surprised to know about you?
One thing that surprises most people to know about me is that I studied abroad in Tokyo, Japan during my undergrad program at Purdue. I studied the language for two years prior to the trip, but sadly have become rusty in my communication skills. However, I’m hoping to make a return trip soon!
What does “Helping people enjoy a full life” mean to you?
Helping people enjoy a full life to me means not only helping people work towards their goals, but also giving them the confidence to know that they can financially afford to put their dreams into action. Clients save their entire lives for their retirement plans, but actually executing on those goals can be scary. BDF gives our clients the confidence that they are financially ready to take the leap.
What is the one thing you wish every person knew when making financial decisions?
There is no one “right answer”. What works for one person may not work for someone else based on their personal situation and their future goals. At BDF we understand this and work with each client to really understand their full financial picture and tailor individual plans that will help them achieve what they define as a full life.
