Leslie Girote CFP®

Senior Advisor & Training Specialist

Why did you choose to be part of the BDF team?

BDF and the team are dedicated to the individual and group growth of everyone and are constantly striving to be better. The BDF team is welcoming, honest, and fun.  I couldn’t imagine a better environment to grow and learn in.

What inspired you to choose wealth management as a career?

I am the happiest when I am talking to, learning about, and helping people. Wealth management allows me to combine my passion for people with my passion for crunching numbers and analysis.

What is the one thing you wish every person knew when making financial decisions?

You don’t need to do it alone. There are people, like the BDF team, with knowledge and experience in making these kinds of decisions and want to help. Navigating financial decisions can be complicated and scary, but it doesn’t need to be alone.

Where can we find you when you are not working?

You can find me with my nose in a good book; I take my kindle everywhere I go. I also love living in the city and exploring the restaurant scene, as well as spending quality time with friends and family.

What defines your own personal “full life”?

My own personal full life is defined by my perspective and the people I surround myself with. Life has its ups and downs, but how I deal with and reflect on those experiences is what makes my life full. I surround myself with loving and supportive people to ensure my personal life is full.
